In this presentation we will explore the OSHA 1910.146 requirements for rescue inside of permit required confined spaces.
BIO: Toledo Refining Company’s Plant Protection Manager Kevin Kennedy has served the Toledo Refinery for 25 years. He was promoted to his current position in July 2016. He had previously held the position of Battalion Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, and Fire Fighter for the Toledo Refinery. Chief Kennedy is responsible for overall strategic leadership to ensure the department is well positioned to provide the best service to the facility, its employees, and citizens of the surrounding community. To accomplish this, the Chief leads 12 fulltime firefighters assigned to 4 battalions, and 37 volunteers. He has a special interest in emergency management, fire ground hydraulics/logistics, and fixed fire protection design and installation.
