BIO: Angela Castillo is a registered nurse and the Injury Prevention Coordinator for The University of Toledo Health trauma program. In this role, she leads community education initiatives aimed at preventing injuries and promoting safety. She coordinates programs such as “Stop the Bleed,” which teaches bleeding control techniques to the public, and “Stepping On,” a fall prevention workshop for seniors. Ms. Castillo also offers “CarFit,” an educational program that helps older adults ensure their vehicles are properly adjusted for maximum safety and comfort. Additionally, she has conducted traffic safety discussions for community groups, focusing on concerns as individuals age. Through these efforts, Ms. Castillo is dedicated to enhancing community health and safety by providing valuable resources and education everywhere.
