Session: 70E updates/ electrical PPE
The 2024 edition of NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, was published toward the end of 2023. The document was first published in 1979, and this will be the 13th edition. This document will continue to play a vital role in reducing injuries and fatalities from electrical hazards.
NFPA 70E states that retraining in safety-related work practices and applicable changes in this standard shall be performed at intervals not to exceed 3 years. This time frame is so employees can keep up to date with the triennial revision cycle of this important electrical safety standard. Participants of this 1-hour course will get a high level overview of the most significant changes that are related to the 2024 edition of the NFPA 70E standard.
