Description:
This session will provide you with the necessary tools to kick-start or revive your ergonomics process. Industrial work environments vary—from repetitive assembly environments, to non-standard field services, to distribution centers. Participants will be introduced to both qualitative and quantitative tools to evaluate all these work areas and to design engineering changes to maintain a healthy workforce. This workshop will also provide insight and information on the future of ergonomics job analysis – how the use of wearables and motion capture technology will impact the role of the ergonomics practitioner.
